100 Ton x 128’ Bridge Crane – Blue Origin – Installation

Following fabrication, EFI supported the installation of a
100 ton x 128’
double-girder bridge crane at the
Blue Origin facility. The system was installed as a complete,
high-capacity lifting solution designed to deliver full bay coverage and reliable
long-term operation.
The installed crane provides 40’ of lift and incorporates
massive 75,000 lb boxed girders, enabling safe and precise handling
of critical aerospace components. This installation represents a
$1.8 million turnkey crane system engineered and executed to meet
the stringent performance and reliability requirements of the aerospace industry.
100 Ton x 128’ Bridge Crane – Blue Origin

This $1.8 million turnkey crane system was designed and built by EFI for Blue Origin Enterprises. This 100 ton x128’, double-girder bridge crane features a 40’ lift height, supported by fully-boxed, 75,000 lb girders.
Engineered by EFI for high-capacity, demanding duty cycles, and precise load handling requirements typical of aerospace manufacturing environments, and executed to meet the stringent performance and reliability requirements of the aerospace industry. This project was entirely built and assembled at EFI’s Cocoa, Florida facility, and reflects EFI’s capability to execute large-scale, mission-critical lifting systems from concept through fabrication.

30 Ton x 38’ Gantry Cranes – Tenkiller Dam (Oklahoma)
Location: Tenkiller Dam, Oklahoma | Completed: November 2025
EFI designed, built, shipped, and erected a pair of 30 ton x 38’ gantry cranes for critical
rehabilitation work at the Tenkiller Dam in Oklahoma. These cranes were engineered for
precision handling of heavy components, structural assemblies, and equipment required during the dam’s
repair and refurbishment operations.

60 Ton Bridge Crane at Coolidge Dam, Peridot, AZ
Location: Coolidge Dam, Peridot, Arizona | Completed: 2025
This turnkey project was awarded to EFI to design and build a 60 ton crane at the
Coolidge Dam for a major project to remove and replace the internal cylinder gates.
Communication was a vital part in the success of this project.
The dam, built nearly 100 years ago, required delicate and precise engineering to ensure crane loads
were distributed only to designated areas of the bridge, avoiding any overloading of the historic structure.
EFI designed, fabricated, and erected both the crane and its support structures. The installation was
a complete success, carried out with accurate, professional, and safe workmanship.

30 Ton x 116.25’ Double Girder Cranes
Location: Precast / Preform Concrete Plant | Completed: August 2022
EFI completed this project with a total of six cranes built around a
30 ton x 116.25’ top-running, double-girder, dual-motor, box-girder design.
The installation includes 1,280’ (¼ mile) of runway—35’ tall,
galvanized double-latticed columns—and a 1,000,000 lb runway system engineered for
heavy, repetitive handling in a precast concrete production environment.
