• Electrical Engineer
Location: This is an on-site position in Cocoa, FL
Responsibilities:
• Motor control systems, theory, design, sourcing
• Electric motor theory
• Project planning
• Wiring means & methods
• NEC and other code interpretation and compliance (ANSI, Osha, UL, NFPA, Emca, etc)
• Proficient in the operation of computer programs including auto-cad, excel, word, etc
• Ability to work in a team environment.
Experience
• Evaluation of client and or project requirements
• Selection of electrical equipment that conforms to requirements.
• Coordination of electrical equipment with mechanical equipment
• Preparation of documents (drawings, BOM’s. written orders) that define and illustrate the physical and operational characteristics of the machines.
• Observation of the assembly of the equipment and machinery
• Support testing and troubleshooting of equipment and machinery.
• Respond to reports (from the field) on performance of installed machinery.
Qualifications
• BSEE degree
• Strong leadership abilities
• Time management and problem solving-skills
• Must be able to work long hours and overtime, if needed
• Production Scheduler
Location: This is an on-site position in Cocoa, FL
Responsibilities:
• The scheduler will plan, schedule, coordinate and/or monitor the flow of products through the complete production cycle.
• The scheduler will collaborate with the shop foreman and engineering team and develop comprehensive schedules to support project milestones, keeping project deliverables visible and ensuring all scopes of work are managed.
Experience
• Create and track plans and schedules, perform risk analysis, identify and resolve critical path and network logic conflicts
• Manage complex projects or processes with general oversight
• Provide support, guidance, coaching, and training to other employees
• Communicate within and outside of own function to gain cooperation on operational processes, practices, and procedures
• Make moderate to substantial improvements to systems and processes
• Contribute to the achievement of departmental goals and operating plans with direct impact on the departmental results
• Perform schedule analysis in support of assigned programs or projects
• Prepare, develop, and coordinate integrated master plan and integrated master schedule (IMP/IMS) using MS Project, Excel and PowerPoint
• Ensure projects and program schedules and plans are integrated across company functional groups including finance, engineering, material, manufacturing, and quality
• Ensure compliance with internal program procedures and project control system guidelines
• Work consists of making significant improvements of processes, systems, solutions, or products to enhance performance of job area
• Review open sales orders to determine customer requirements
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience in manufacturing environment
• in lieu of a degree, minimum of 6 years of prior related experience in manufacturing environment
• Ability to interact well with internal and external customers
• Ability to read and write and communicate in English
• Read and interpret a variety of blueprints
